From looking at other artists websites I have come up with a list of the common tab heading or sections included within their website:
- Home - used to enables to place all of the recent updates from the artist, or tabs to the other webpages consisted on the website.
- Music - able to buy the music, or if not a music tab they're links on the home page suggesting where you can purchase their music, for example links to stores like HMV.
- Video - these videos are often linked from their YouTube official channels which gives the user further access to other music video/lyric video if they want to, otherwise usually all of the music videos would be all on their website.
- Gallery - the gallery would include shoots of the artist behind the scenes and in photo-shoot scenarios.
- Bio - the bio would usually include a brief story about the artist journey as a musician or just general information regarding the artist.
- Contact - the contact pages on the websites that I looked at, for example when looking at the actual artist BORNS, I found that his contact page provided a system where the user could put their email in and then they would receive updates via their email of the artist and the artist record label (Interscope Records).
- Shop - the shop would often include the price of the items - often separated into individual sections to make the layout more easily understandable.
Therefore, I will be including all of these features within my website in order to form a hub consisting of all of the information the user would like to know and see about the artist.
