Today I decided to create a new logo design for the artists brand, this is because of copyright issues if I use the original artists logo, however, I did keep the artists name.
When thinking of initial ideas I wanted to originally link it to the song itself, but then this would limit the artist brand to that one song. Therefore, I came up with these ideas:
Signature Design:
The logo would make the music more personal and have a deeper attachment to the artist - and therefore the fans. However, I fear that when placed on merchandise it will feel lost and misplaced, with no main imagery to follow. Also, I fear that the fans may not want to go to meet and greets in order to get merchandise signed because the logo on them is already his signature.

I have an idea of the design that I want to choose (this being the 'Crest' design) however, in order to make sure that I am making the right decision, I am going to ask for audience feedback with the target audience of my music video and artist brand in general. Overall, this will benefit me and my decision, and hopefully my overall artist image within the music industry market.
