Audience Feedback for all of my Media Products....
Hi everyone,
Today I decided to get audience feedback to look at all of my finished products, including my CD Package, Website and Music Video. I did this to see what people thought that I could have done to improve my overall products, which will also help me answer Question 3 within my Evaluation - which will be coming soon.
Here is the feedback that I received:
Hope you enjoyed it!

BORNS - Music Video Table of Audience Feedback....
Hi everyone,
Today I received some audience feedback for my music video. The audience includes 17 - 18 year olds, which is relevant to my initial target audience of 13 - 24 year olds therefore I will be receiving accurate results:
When looking back at this feedback it is clear that my original ideas regarding Concepts when looking at Andrew Goodwins Conventions, especially with the lyrics and visuals with the graphics - therefore showing that I have been successful within this message I was trying to produce.
I will take all of the improvements on board in my future productions. However, the suggestion from Audience member 7 stated that the sky shot was too long. When looking back over my music video, the length of this shot cannot be changed, because of the quick pan transition that occurs, without the length the transition will look jolted and not smooth like my intention. Therefore, to improve upon this point I will make sure that in the production process I will do more than one take in both locations at different paces of transition, so then during post-production this enables me to choose the best fit to avoid lag.
Hope you enjoyed reading!

Hi everyone,
After recently finishing my music video I decided to get some feedback in order to see if my final product was successful. Therefore, I asked one of my peers who is 17 years of age, therefore is in the centre of my target audience being 13 - 24 years old, which will give me an accurate response.

Teaser Video....
Hi everyone,
Here is my teaser trailer for my music video 'Seeing Stars' - I hope you like it!
BORNS 'Seeing Stars' Teaser Trailer:
I did my teaser a fast teaser incorporating everything into it as I wanted to matched the tempo of the song. Also, I got inspired by the upcoming film 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle' teaser trailer which has been recently released:
This trailer allows key flashes of the upcoming film - which is what I wanted to do for my music video considering that there are a lot of fast edited cut to various scenes and I wanted to incorporate a little snippet from almost every scene - giving the viewers a breath of mise-en-scene to consider.
I have further included some shots where graphics can be seen, specifically with the graphics of the artists and the stars at the end, representing the songs title. By showing these shots with the graphics as a whole, shows the viewer the music videos creativity, thus making them intrigued and excited to watch the full music video when released.
I also have used the beginning of the songs audio so that the footage would easily work on top without the need for lip syncing. Also, by the trailer including the beginning of the actual audio of the song ultimately invites the listener in wanting to here more as it gives them a sense of the main beat and vibe of the song and genre.
Hope you enjoyed it!

Lyric Video....
Hi everyone,
Within my lyric video I have decided to use the firework footage that I have already previously filmed, to which I am no longer including it within my main music video. This is because the contrast of the urban and rural scenes did not work with the firework footage, also there where complications with the green screen when wanting varied shots. However, the fireworks within the lyric video makes a great background for the lyrics, with the star sparkler being constant throughout with the intended purpose to link in with title of the song 'Seeing Stars'.
I have further included overlays of fireworks at the beginning beat of the song, to help exaggerate the visuals and the beginning of the song. Also, I have included overlays of fireworks contrasting with the main lyrics of the song, with Comet fireworks being overlaid over the lyrics: 'You've got me seeing stars' - almost acting like shooting stars. This emphasises these lyrics - drawing attention to it through visuals.
I have further used a larger firework to overlay the lyric: 'Brighter than ever' - again emphasises this specific lyric to the viewer. As a result, I am still linking to Andrew Goodwin Conventions and the idea of linking lyrics to visuals. This is because the word 'Brighter' overlaid with a larger and more vivid in colour which is lighter firework, thus portraying the connotations of the word through visuals.
I have also repeated this same combination of both the Comet fireworks and the larger firework throughout these specific lyrics within the song. However, I did change the colour of each segment of these fireworks through the use of colour correction in order to add more colour to the video and it makes it more versatile and visually appealing. Also, I did this to stick with the happy and fun theme I am going for with my overall package of the song and the artist - and the change in colours allows this to happen.

Overall, I think that the simplicity of it works well and doesn't take away from the main music video, as it is something entirely different. I have taken this idea from influences from The Chainsmokers lyric videos in comparison to their main music videos of the same song. This almost allows the two videos to stand separately and to be seen as individuals. Therefore, when the music video is released after the lyric video, it should be seen as more of a surprise and intriguing, as the audience is not expecting the huge change.
