Today I decided to do some location scouting for my 1 minute music task for my chosen song 'Gone Gone Gone' by Phillip Phillips.
Considering the tempo of the song I wanted to make it like a love paradise - which ultimately connoted the idea of a sunset. As a result, I decided to look into key points within my local area, which includes the Peak District, from this research I can over a place called Ashover Rock. This location ultimately gives a great shot to capture a sunset with its open space surrounding a main point being a rock - which can act as a silhouette, giving another romantic element to the music video - as this is often something associated with couples (a silhouette of the couple in-front of a sunset). However, the difference with my music video will be the fact that I am only including one actor, but this does reference the song more in terms of the lyrics 'Gone Gone Gone' referring to the fact that the lovers are separated.
